Pulakshi Perera

Her sessions are developed through her own transformational experience which focused on practicing mindfulness to improve her emotional and physical well-being. Her education as a therapist also allows her to address specific problem areas of the body.  By learning to connect your breath with each movement her practice encourages you to understand yourself better.. Pulakshi also specialises in building body and mind awareness through a thoughtfully sequenced series of yogasana and breathing techniques.

Slow Flow –  A mindful practice curated to relax and rejuvenate your mind and body helping you leave behind the stress of the week behind you and start the new week refreshed and recharged.

Hatha – A steady practice where you hold Asana for longer duration with ease and awareness in order to   cultivate and maintain prana in your body helping you access the long term benefits of yoga.

Chair Yoga – A carefully designed sequence of slow movements practiced on a chair with awareness of mind and body. It can be practiced by  those who find it difficult to sit on a mat due to knee or hip issues, obesity, arthritis, paraplegia or any other serious health conditions. 

Yoga Therapy – While a regular Yoga practice helps in managing and reducing affects of  certain aliments yoga therapy applies yogic tools holistically (breathwork, asana, cleansing, meditation, relaxation, etc),  for specific mental and physical ailments. 

Some of the NCDs that can be treated through Yoga Therapy are; heart diseases, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Colitis, Cardiovascular issues, Arthritis, hernia, back problems, etc.
